The Inlet Raiders continued their winning ways last week with a pair of wins in men's A-division hockey action.

The Raiders knocked off the Rangers 4-1 on Jan. 9 then followed that up on Saturday night with a 5-3 win over the ever-improving Powerclean Outlaws.

In Friday's win, the Raiders opened up a 3-0 lead by the mid-way mark of the second period and never looked back.

Tom Poulton, Dave Crosby and Robb Stockwell scored the first three goals before Jeremy Hemp replied for the Rangers.

Stockwell added an insurance marker late in the second to round out the scoring.

Stockwell has been on a tear of late, seemingly scoring at will, notching points in almost every game the Raiders have played the past few weeks.

Stockwell was back at it again on Saturday night in the Raiders' win over the Outlaws as he scored a pair of goals. David Arduin also chipped in with a pair while Mike Yarrow added a single. Yarrow also added three assists for an impressive four-point night.

The Outlaws offence was paced by three different goal scorers as Adam Mercer, Jamie McPhail and Trent Turner found pay dirt.

In the second game on Saturday night, the Rangers rebounded from the Friday night loss with a 6-2 win over the Suncoast Flyers.

Rangers opened a 4-0 lead only to see the Flyers respond with a pair to cut the lead in half. But the Rangers kept their cool, scoring late in the second and adding one more in the third to pick up the win.

Eoin Ross and Randy Younghusband each scored twice for Rangers, while Peter Leverman and Glenn Allen added singles. Hemp chipped in with three assists while Vaughn Winmill helped out on both Younghusband's goals.

Shaune Davie and Cody Munson replied for the Flyers.
