Men’s ice hockey is in full swing on the Coast with all teams engaged in active competition.
The Rangers faced off against the Gibsons Mark’s Cutters in action on Sunday night in Gibsons. The Cutters took an early 1-0 lead in the first period on a goal by Michael Unger. In the third period, the Cutters extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal scored by Jesse Ostrosky and assisted by Benedict Pierre. The game ended in a 2-0 win for the Cutters.
The men’s league is always keen on having spectators out to watch games and they encourage you to support your favourite teams at games being played at the Gibsons & Area Community Centre and the Sunshine Coast Arena in Sechelt.
