The fourth annual Hitmen Seven-a-Side Hockey Tournament was held April 20 to 22 at the Sechelt Ice Arena. The tournament included two divisions hosting 16 teams, both local and off-Coast, bringing out close to 1,000 spectators throughout the weekend!
The competitive division champions, The Firebells, battled hard for the win against local ex-Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey Association Midget Players, The Young Guns.
The B Division final was another close game with the Kings Plan B taking the win over the Razor Reg Dunlops in overtime.
The tournament is sponsored by many local business and hosted by the local Hitmen Hockey Club – a favourite event that players and spectators look forward to every year!
