The 7th Annual Dempster Golf Tournament fundraiser will be held on June 25.
Thanks to the generosity of last year’s sponsors and participants, organizers were able to provide a $25,000 grant to the Sechelt Hospital Foundation and a $10,000 grant to the Challenger Baseball Program. Challenger Baseball provides an opportunity for children with cognitive or physical disabilities to enjoy the full benefits of participation in baseball at a level structured to their abilities.
The Dempster Family Foundation is dedicated to raising awareness of DiGeorge Syndrome/VCFS and reaching out to families of children with the disorder, and the charities that support them, to help them deal with difficult situations they face each day.
