The men's A-division final will go at least four games, thanks to a game two victory Tuesday night by the Ross Concrete/S.C. Building Centre Razorbacks.
After dropping game one of the series last Saturday, 4-3 to the Midway Power Grasshopper Pub Hitmen, the Razors came out on fire in the first period of game two, scoring four goals and never looking back in a relatively easy 8-3 win.
Randall Smisko led the Razors with three goals and five points. Other goals were scored by Shane Huolt, Glenn Allen, Tom Baillie, Alex Peters and Josh Knox. Aaron Portman had three assists, while Baillie chipped in with two helpers.
Nate De Boer scored a pair for the Hitmen while Carey Brown added a single.
On Saturday night, Brown had a goal and one assist, while Ravy Hayre, Lance Durkin and Jared Gonn'McQuillan added singles for the Hitmen.
Randy Younghusband, Smisko and Huolt scored for the Razors while Portman added two helpers.
Game three in the series was played last night (Thursday) past Coast Reporter deadlines. Game four is tonight (Friday) at 8:45 p.m. with a potential game five (if necessary) Saturday night at 9:45 p.m.
