The 5th annual Holiday Hustle 5k & 2k raised a net amount of approximately $1,000 for the Chatelech and Elphinstone running teams – $155 was donated to the teams, the rest was raised through entry fees. The funds are intended to offset travel costs for the teams to get to meets off-Coast. As well, $130 was donated to the Elves Club.
A total of 80 participants – split about evenly between the 5k and 2k – made it down to the Seaside Centre on Dec. 11 and ran, walked or danced their way down Cowrie Street. See results in the Sports Ticker below.
