Elphinstone Secondary’s junior volleyball team is off to a great start this season. The junior team came in third out of eight teams at the Burnaby South tournament on Sept. 29 and 30. They won their first two league games against Collingwood on Oct. 4 and Sentinel on Oct. 6.
The junior team is scheduled to play a series of away games through October, ending with a game against Whistler on Oct. 25 at Rockridge before they can move on to the quarterfinals.
The junior team will be playing an exhibition game on Oct. 19 against Sutherland at Elphinstone, start time to be announced. Come out and cheer the girls on at their home game!
After that the team plays a tournament at Capilano University in North Vancouver on Oct. 28 and 29.
