Elphinstone played Chatelech in senior high school soccer on Oct. 29 for the inaugural Rogue Cup at Hackett Park.

Elphi prevailed 2-0 after a hard-fought match in the rain, and will play North Shore opposition for the right to play at provincials.

Goalies Kieran Peel for Chat and Josh Mowbray for Elphi were outstanding, keeping the game close right till the end. Cam Longman and Ben Luporini were the scorers.

Both teams played hard, but fair, which bodes well for future editions of the Rogue Cup.

Thanks to everyone who helped make the game happen.
