The drag racing team at Chatelech Secondary School is looking for parts donations to help get their Malibu to the track for the April Test ‘n’ Tune.
At this time, the car is just a shell and needs almost everything. An aluminum intake and carb, alternator, starter, MSD ignition, coil and distributor, fuel regulator, vortec heads, battery cable to relocate to trunk, battery switch, battery, gauges and tach, floor shifter with neutral safety, small fuel cell, anything better than 2.29 gears for a 10 bolt 7.5”, manual brake master cylinder from an early S10, comp cams 268 or similar, headers for a Gbody, dash switches and electrical wire, a couple of helmets, and seat belts.
An SBC 350 and TH350, electric water pump, gear drive timing set, as well as bucket seats have already been donated.
