Dakota Ridge is opening Dec. 16.
The road will be plowed but you still need a 4x4 or all-wheel drive to get up the mountain. Carrying chains is also recommended for access.
Current conditions include nearly two metres of snow at the upper parking lot. Staff and volunteers are working to open cross country and snowshoe trails and the sledding hill.
