The Ravens softball team from the Sunshine Coast Special Olympics participated in the Port Coquitlam Tourney June 3 and 4 involving 14 teams from around B.C.
Team members played very well, winning some of their games, as well as renewing friendships with athletes from other teams.
Their participation exemplified the Code of Conduct for Special Olympics: “Let me win, but if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”
