Sunshine Coast field lacrosse players (from left) Jake Podgorenko, Braedon Service and Levi Mural won provincial gold last weekend as members of North Shore Eagles. Playing in the U18 Field Lacrosse Provincial Championships in Port Coquitlam, North Shore fought hard over six intense games in the Tier 2 division. Braving the cold, wet, windy weather, the stage was set for North Shore to face off with Vancouver in the final round. The North Shore Eagles battled goal for goal with Vancouver and were victorious in their 5-4 win. It was a golden payoff for the three Sunshine Coasters who have travelled to the city three times a week to follow their dream.
