Georgie Aleong, Mackenzie Inksater and Emily Jaschinski were in Sunnycrest Mall on Feb. 13 to raise funds for Inksater to compete in the American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup in Australia. The World Cup runs for 20 days, from June 17 to July 4.
Inksater will be one of five Canadians competing against 11 other international teams.
The girls raised a little over $400 on Saturday, which – including Inksater’s other fundraising efforts – gets her about halfway to her $6,000 goal.
Inksater is holding a concession fundraiser on March 5 and 6 at Kinnikinnick Park during the Sunshine Coast Youth Soccer Association’s year-end soccer tournament for U18 and U15.
