The call is out for volunteers to join the coaching ranks of minor baseball this season to help make it a fun and successful season for their own child and all those who have signed up to play. The Sunshine Coast Baseball Association has an easy program to run for its lower leagues, and volunteers will receive support from experienced coaches to get the season started. Coaches are particularly needed for the T-Ball and Tadpole leagues.

Full practice and games schedules will be produced when the association is certain of the number of teams that will form in each league.
• T-Ball – opening day is Wednesday, March 29, Cedar Grove Elementary, 6 p.m.
T-Ball will play Monday and Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Fields: Gibsons – Cedar Grove; Sechelt – Picadilly.
• Tadpole – opening day is Monday, March 27, Brothers #2, 6 p.m.
Tadpole will play Monday and Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Fields: Gibsons – Brothers #2; Sechelt – Whittaker Park (Davis Bay).
• Mosquito – opening day is Tuesday, March 28, Brothers #2, 6 p.m.
Mosquito will play Tuesday and Thursday at 6 p.m.
Fields: Gibsons – Brothers #2; Sechelt – Connor Park (HMB).
The season will end on Sunday, June 18 with the final tournament at Brothers Park in Gibsons.
