The Chatelech Ski and Snowboard Club finished its season with a gold medal win at the North Shore Ski and Snowboard Championships on Feb. 10.
Pearl Deasey won the gold medal in Girls Snowboarding. This was an especially sweet win for Pearl as it was the day of her 16th birthday. Maddie Talbot-Kelly placed seventh, and Finola Fogarty took ninth place.
In Boys Snowboarding, Jasper Deasey placed third and won the bronze medal in the individual race category. Levi Pearl was awarded fourth place, Gabe Crudele was sixth, and Magnus Manson placed ninth.
Overall – with Leif and Will Magnussen – the Chatelech Boys Snowboarding Team placed second and brought home the silver medal.
