Experts today are telling us that getting kids outdoors is critical for healthy development. According to the American Council on Exercise, getting outdoors even aids in the development of important interpersonal skills – this is especially true for participation in team sports. That’s what Bible Ball Camp is all about.
For the eighth year, Little Scholars is teaming up with Sechelt Life Church to offer kids in grades 1 to 6 an awesome time, offering kids the chance to learn more about softball, discover character-building concepts, and have a whole lot of fun. And it is all for free.
At Little Scholars Summer Bible Ball Camp, kids can learn more about the game of softball. It doesn’t matter if they’ve played all their lives or just started yesterday, Summer Bible Ball Camp helps kids improve their skills. All sorts of drills and practice games will get kids focused on the fundamentals that make athletes great. Plus, Summer Bible Ball Camp creates a positive and encouraging environment that pumps up their confidence and self-esteem.
Between sports sessions, coaches lead in songs, tell stories, and do cool object lessons that help character-building themes take hold in kids’ hearts. Most importantly, kids will discover God’s great love for them.
The Summer Bible Ball Camp is held at Little Scholars, 5895 Reef Road in Sechelt. After an opening rally, campers will bus up to Kinnikinnick Park.
Bible Ball Camp started on July 4 and lasts through July 10, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. but kids are welcome to join at any time during the week.
