The 2015-16 season for the Adult Men’s Hockey League (SCRDAHL) came to a thrilling conclusion on March 10 at the Gibsons & Area Community Centre. The Bruins edged out the Hitmen to take the playoff cup after winning the first game of the best-of-three final on March 8.
The Bruins entered the best of three final having won all four round robin games. All five teams are now on a much deserved break before things start up again in September.
One of the local men’s teams – the Gibsons Mark’s Cutters – are off to Salmon Arm on March 18 to compete in a year-end tournament that features teams from the Okanagan, Northern B.C. and Alberta.
