Over 3,000 athletes from all over the province came together to complete over three days in Abbotsford last weekend.
For equestrian rider Sierra Hincks, it was the athlete’s first experience at the multi-sport summer games.
Coach Jeanine Ellingham said Hincks kept her cool under pressure, presented herself well and put in a commendable effort. As one of the youngest riders on the equestrian team, Hincks stayed in the game, usually finishing in the middle of the pack with no falls or eliminations, and she always showed cheerful, good sportsmanship. Best of all, she learned so much, had an eye-opening experience, and made some great new friends.
