David Barnum (pictured at right) took third place in the sprint triathlon distance at the 2016 American Masters Games in Vancouver on Sept. 2.
Barnum lived on the Sunshine Coast from 1992 until about a year ago when he moved to West Vancouver. He has been teaching with School District No. 46 since 1993.
