Banff Film Festival returns

Tetrahedron Outdoor Club

For the 17th consecutive year, the Tetrahedron Outdoor Club is presenting the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour on the Sunshine Coast.

The annual event, featuring award-winning films and audience favourites from films entered in the annual festival in Banff, is the primary fundraising event for the Tetrahedron Outdoor Club and was sold out for the last two years.

Money raised goes to support club activities, including maintenance and firewood for four public backcountry cabins in Tetrahedron Provincial Park. Funds have also been used for purchasing emergency rescue equipment and contributing to local youth activities such as the Jackrabbit cross country ski program.

The event will be held in the Elphinstone Gym on Friday, Nov. 27. Tickets are $20 and are available at Trail Bay Source for Sports and Off the Edge in Sechelt, Alpha Adventures in Wilson Creek, Roberts Creek General Store and Spin Cycles in Gibsons.
