24 hours of hockey

Fundraiser
24 hockey

The 24-Hour hockey game that ran from Dec. 16-17 at the Sechelt Arena raised approximately $1,500 for Sunshine Coast Minor Hockey Association and KidSport and involved just over 300 people from the hockey community ranging in ages from two years old to over 60. Anyone who wanted could make a team and participate in the 24 hours of hockey.

Pictured: the Wing family team after their game against the Totten family. Aspen Wing said she thought it was a tie game but no one was paying too much attention to the score. It was – after all – a game for fun, family and fundraising for minor hockey on the Coast and KidSport – a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under.
