Some residents of Sandy Hook whose homes border an area being logged as a private managed forest say the logging, which started more than a year ago and is mostly complete, is putting their neighbourhood at risk.

Logging activity hasn’t been the only point of friction between the principals of 0990199 B.C. Ltd. and neighbouring property owners.

Environment Canada says the Sechelt weather station was among more than 30 across the province that have recorded record high temperatures this week. Records were set Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Sechelt reached a high of 16.2 degrees on March 17.
