Guilty plea in decades old sex crime

A former Sunshine Coast resident pled guilty this week to a sexual assault dating back nearly 38 years. Stein Erik Iversen, 70, entered the guilty plea to one count of gross indecency in provincial court in Sechelt on Monday Jan 25.

RCMP seek help with stolen Sea-do

Plane crash unconfirmed

Despite witness reports, Sunshine Coast RCMP could find no sign of a possible plane crash in West Sechelt on Jan. 22. Around 5:30 p.m. last Friday night RCMP received a 9-1-1 call from the West Sechelt area reporting a possible plane crash.
