Sechelt councillors sued for abuse of public office

Representatives from the District of Sechelt will be in court on Sept. 28 to face allegations of abuse of public office. The claim was filed by businessman Brock Rodgers in 2008 but it has taken until this month to have the issue heard in court.

Police seeking jewellery thief

Vandals target highway signs

Sunshine Coast RCMP are reporting a case of major vandalism which saw 22 highway signs knocked down along Highway 101 last week. The incidents occurred sometime during the night of Sept. 6 or the morning of Sept. 7.
