There was a break and enter to Nitestar Galleries on Cowrie Street in Sechelt on Sept. 13 sometime between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m.
Sunshine Coast RCMP said an alarm was activated when the thief broke in to the jewellery store by way of the front door.
Cpl. Murray McNeil said an undisclosed amount of jewellery was taken from the store.
"We sent over our forensics identification people, the ones who take the prints on the scene, and they've obtained some evidence there, so we're still continuing the investigation. There are no arrests at this time," McNeil said.

Bike accident
Charges have been laid in the accident that sent a 53-year-old cyclist from Vancouver to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
On Sept. 1 at 1:20 p.m. a 1989 Honda Civic was travelling southbound on Highway 101 and making a left turn onto Snodgrass Road when it struck the cyclist who was travelling northbound on the highway.
Charges of driving without due care have been laid against the driver of the vehicle, a 53-year-old woman from Roberts Creek.
McNeil said the cyclist was found to have serious injuries to her left leg and knee but no life-threatening injuries were reported.
Bus stop assault
Charges have been laid and a court date has been set for the person accused of a serious assault on a man waiting for the bus outside the Raven's Cry theatre Sept. 1.
Jonathon Robson, 23, has been charged with assault with a weapon, and he will appear in court on Oct. 10, according to Sunshine Coast RCMP.
McNeil said the victim has been released from hospital, having sustained minor injuries to the head.
