Sunshine Coast RCMP reported the following for March 18 to 25: Overnight on March 18, a thief stole five burlap sacks full of snap brackets from a job site in the 800 block of Gibsons Way. Approximately 360 snap brackets are missing.

Sechelt council is looking at creating a new "infrastructure renewal levy" that would pull at least $182 from each property in Sechelt.
