Sunshine Coast RCMP reported the following for April 8 to 15: • On April 8, police received information about a large pile of debris that was illegally dumped near Trout Lake Road.

Sechelt Inlet Road closed due to accident

Sunshine Coast RCMP and Sechelt firefighters were on scene at an accident on Sechelt Inlet Road on Wednesday morning. According to Sunshine Coast RCMP, a dump truck took out a power pole and there are downed lines.

Compensation hike endorsed

At its March 19 meeting, Sechelt council released an in-camera resolution to "endorse a compensation adjustment of three per cent for exempt salaried employees and council effective Jan. 1, 2014.
