Two bus stops in Roberts Creek are now accessible following closure because of road improvements to Highway 101.

BC Transit announced Tuesday that the southbound Route 90 bus stop heading to Gibsons at Joe Road and the northbound Orange Road bus stop on Highway 101 are open.

The Highway 101 construction has been ongoing since 2021.

Protected left-turn lanes eastbound and westbound are being installed, along with adjustments to the intersection's "overall alignment," according to the Ministry of Transportation

The upgrades were part of the Highway 101 corridor study released in fall 2020 that recommends more than $20 million in improvements between the Langdale ferry terminal and the southern end of Redrooffs Road.
