One of the fund-raising projects is an Egmont Heritage Cookbook to be published in time for Christmas. The cookbook will feature stories of the Egmont area and recipes that reflect that heritage.

Categories include logging and fishing stories, Native stories, hunting and camping, vacation experiences and early Egmont life. All recipes will be considered including seafood recipes, hunting and camping recipes, holiday recipes and Native recipes.

Anyone who has lived or vacationed in the Egmont area is invited to submit stories, pictures, ideas and recipes. The deadline for submissions is July 31.
