There was a motor vehicle incident (MVI) Tuesday, Aug. 26 at approximately 9:30 a.m. in the 12000 block of Sunshine Coast Highway (Highway 101) in the Madeira Park area, according to a report from the Sunshine Coast RCMP Media Relations Officer, Cst. Jihan McDougall.
"This was a 2-vehicle collision that police, fire, and EHS (Emergency Health Services) attended. There were minor injuries, and traffic was diverted by fire for approximately 30 minutes until the road was safe.
"As this incident recently occurred, we do not have any further information as police are still investigating," the statement issued at 1:16 p.m. stated.
