Tonight's (Thursday) Movie in the Park event at Hackett Park has been postponed due to weather conditions. The Sunshine Coast chapter of KidSport, who were organizing the event, said a new date for the event will be posted soon.

Coroner investigating sudden death
The BC Coroner's Service has now taken over the investigation into a man who was found dead in a boat near Gibsons on Wednesday morning. RCM-SAR unit 14 in Gibsons was called out to the waters just off Gibsons after a report of a boat adrift.
