The Ice Painting Project Society hosted the first Call for Participation for Performance for Ice Gate, Saturday, Sept. 12 at St. Mary's Catholic Church auditorium in Gibsons. About 25 members of the public attended, with more than 15 signing up.

Runs in Roberts Creek and Gibsons next Sunday

The 28th annual Terry Fox Run, which raises money for cancer research, will take place Sunday, Sept. 13, in both Roberts Creek and Gibsons. The Roberts Creek 10 km run begins at 10 a.m., starting and finishing at Roberts Creek Elementary School.
