This Saturday, head on down to the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives in Gibsons for its annual Heritage Play Day. From 1 to 4 p.m. enjoy some good old-fashioned fun with games and craft projects for all.

Celebrate Earth Hour in Sechelt at a free family-friendly community event on Saturday, March 26 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at civic square. The Sunshine Coast Conservation Association and the District of Sechelt are co-sponsoring the event.

Last Saturday, the Gibsons and Area Community Centre was home to the third annual Marylou Lymer Memorial Hockey Tournament.

The 10th anniversary of Pender Harbour's one and only wooden boat challenge is only a few weeks away.
