This Saturday, head on down to the Sunshine Coast Museum and Archives in Gibsons for its annual Heritage Play Day.
From 1 to 4 p.m. enjoy some good old-fashioned fun with games and craft projects for all.
Make a whirligig, try your hand at origami, or design a totem pole. While at the museum, check out their new temporary exhibit -Our Food: Then and Now -art, artifacts, words and images reflecting the culture of food over the past 100 years. This is a free event for all ages. Donations to the museum are always welcome.
