This January, the Sunshine Coast Grandmothers and Grand Others group passed the $100,000 mark in funds raised to help grandmothers caring for their grandchildren, orphaned by AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.

Halfmoon Happenings

Coast mom continues son's legacy

Judy Lynne is keeping her son's memory alive - and helping others - through song and a fundraising legacy. Lynne's son Neil Falkner died on April 12, 2002, in the Canadian Rockies, the result of a back country skiing accident in whiteout conditions.
