Last week Carrie Tuplin brought two horses and two goats to Chatelech Secondary School – not your typical sight on the athletic fields! This was an animal therapy experience for the Fitness and Active Leisure Class (grade 11/12) to offer the students

This big buck took a break from chasing a doe around a back yard in Upper Gibsons. The cat seemed a bit unsure but was happy to witness. The photo may not do it justice, but this buck was very powerful and large and also a bit unpredictable.

In a long-ago Peanuts comic, Charlie Brown asks Linus “What is art?” The next panel shows Snoopy’s garishly redecorated doghouse, with its grinning owner dressed like a used-car salesman, standing proudly beside it. Both human characters just sigh.

Divers John Davis, Dryden Ostrosky, Sarah Park and Jamey McKinney took part in the Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest at Davis Bay Pier on Saturday, Oct. 27, sponsored by Seadog Diver’s Den in Sechelt.

What a Howl! Thanks to Marilyn and the Pender Harbour Blues Society for a fantastic Halloween Howl Dance and Costume Extravaganza at the PH Community Hall last Saturday. The music was over the top and costumes outstanding.
