A reminder to all Halfmoon Bay runners and walkers that the BMO Sunshine Coast April Fool’s Run, presented by Eastlink, is Sunday, April 7. You can register by April 3 and save. There is also the kids’ run, which has a limited entry of 50.

The Halfmoon Bay Branch of the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary is hosting another Fabulous Bridge Luncheon on April 25 at the Botanical Gardens in West Sechelt.

For the past few weeks Jenni Peters has been “elbows deep in dresses.” The Madeira park hair stylist won’t be wearing the frills and tulle. Instead, she’s collecting the garments for Sunshine Coast high school graduates to wear to this year’s prom.
