Elphinstone Chronicles: Wrapping up the year
As 2018 draws to a close, I fondly remember two Elphinstone residents who passed away this past year. Many will remember Stan Jones, who worked at a variety of jobs. My husband and I knew him as a good neighbour.

Students do their part for vulnerable youth
The grade 6/7 students at Halfmoon Bay Community School have been working hard to give back this season. The students learned hand weaving to create coin bags, painted tree cookie ornaments and made beeswax-coated fabric food wraps.

Chatelech students suport Free the Children charity

KidSport: Did you hear ‘gobbling’ on Saturday?
KidSport Sunshine Coast raised $2,900 at its annual Turkey Shoot on Saturday, Dec. 8. The community packed Blackfish Pub where 30 turkeys were raffled and many other raffle prizes drawn.

Harbour Highlights: Boat parade this Friday
