Twenty-two very colourful quilts were recently dedicated during a service at St. John’s United Church, Davis Bay. These quilts have now been delivered to First United Church, on the Downtown Eastside, to be presented to patrons who are eligible for approved housing. St. John’s Quilters and Friends meet during the winter months to sew these gifts of love and colour, and have provided possibly 200 quilts over the years.
