February is Toastmasters Month! Sechelt and Gibsons have proclaimed February as Toastmaster’s Month along with the B.C. Legislature, celebrating the Toastmasters program across the province. Toastmasters has been around for 97 years.

The Sunshine Coast Blues U13 female hockey team have nominated the Sunshine Coast Community Services Society’s Building Together project as the recipients of a $100,000 grant if they win the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup Grant.

The Sunshine Coast Foundation has launched its spring 2021 grants cycle. Registered charities and other “qualified donees” are eligible to apply for up to $7,500 for programs and services serving residents of the lower Sunshine Coast.
