Langdale Elementary students prepared for the Terry Fox Run by having school-wide fitness runs in the community twice each week during the month of September.
The Grade 6/7 class led the stretching routines before each run and organized the kick-off assembly for the school’s official Terry Fox Run on Sept. 30.
The school set a target of raising $1,500 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Donations continued to pour in since the run, helping the school to raise a total of $1,800!
