St. Bartholomew’s Anglican Church is a historic building in Gibsons that serves as a spiritual and community gathering place.

From its beginning in 1892 as a small wooden church built by volunteers––on land donated by an early Gibsons resident––St. Bart’s has persevered through good and tough times to serve our community. Such spirit has driven today’s ever-expanding St. Bart’s Food Bank, free community lunches, free seniors’ lunches, and a beautiful venue for weddings, funerals, theatre and musical events. The pioneer spirit still prevails in our passion to serve our community.

Join us Sunday, Aug. 24 in remembering Bartholomew, our patron saint and one of Jesus’ 12 disciples.

Events as follows: 10 a.m. outdoor worship in Memorial Garden, 10:15 a.m. procession to church for mass, 11:30 a.m. parking lot party with hot dogs and fries cooked up by Lions Club, music, door prizes and fun for friends and visitors. Everyone is welcome!
