Kisses and kicks: Kicks for dumping fish carcasses, kisses to Camp Elphinstone Alumni Day organizers

Here are the good deeds (and not so good deeds) that happened in our Coast community this week!
Kisses & Kicks
Kisses & Kicks

Here are your kicks and kisses for the week of August 22!

Huge fish stank kicks to the lazy POS who dumped a bunch of fish carcasses up Reservoir Road/Selma Park Road, right beside the trail exit by the power lines. You are encouraging bear and human interaction, which may end in a bear’s death. Trail cams are up now.

Kicks to whoever dropped a post long weekend adventure bag at Habitat Refundables. If you think that hard working volunteers should be grateful for the couple of dollars they’ll get after sorting through your trash covered in food waste, you have a lot to learn. Next time please keep your good will to yourself.

Kicks to the dangerous, inconsiderate, impatient knobs who pass people driving the speed limit on Redrooffs Road yet again! Can we please have a police presence on our road before more animals senselessly die or someone gets seriously hurt.

Kisses to the mother of the five-year-old girl in Sechelt Library for returning the DVDs and books that I put on my library card to avoid her daughter’s disappointment.

Kicks to those who post real estate listings that promote ATV rides on Whittaker Beach.

Huge thank you kisses to the two young men who helped my husband after he crashed his pedal bike on Naylor Rd. From calling the ambulance and staying with him after it arrived to finding the pieces of his broken eye glasses, much appreciation, as well, to all the EMS and medical staff.

A camp full of kisses to the organizers of Camp Elphinstone Alumni Day. Being at camp brought back wonderful memories and happy times. Thanks for such a wonderful heartwarming afternoon. A grateful & happy Kitchen Mum & family xo

Kicks to the man who decided to beat up his poor dog, in the middle of the street, at show and shine! Shame on you! Get some help!

Kicks to the woman who abandons her dog unsupervised in the Ebbtide dog park, leaving it howling and barking its poor head off while she walks back home to fetch another dog.

Kicks to the contracting company that is not paying any local tradesman for their finished work.

Applause to Cam, Tanya, Frank, John and Terry of the S.C. Rotary Club for applying a fresh coat of paint to brighten the “Sechelt Service Clubs” signboard located on the highway between Roberts Creek and Wilson Creek. Awesome!

Kicks to the lady who told my favourite barista who is full of love, light and kindness that she says love too much! Let it be known the rest of the community truly appreciates all the love she has to offer! Shame on you!
