Sunshine Coast ElderCollege presents 17 upcoming fall courses and one special, free lecture.
ElderCollege is proud to celebrate 25 years of offering third age education to the over 55s, the Coast’s largest demographic
Beginning as a “kitchen table” initiative, ElderCollege has matured into a full-fledged non-profit society responsible for all aspects of the organization. We are all volunteers including our expert presenters, facilitators and administrators.
Fall Program examples: Music as Medicine, Mythological Creatures, Housing Solutions for Older Adults, Blue Zone Cooking, Adventures in Travel, Making Sense of Human Nature and a free, community wide lecture at the Raven’s Cry, titled Disinformation in Canada, with Dr. Ahmed Al-Rawi, Director of SFU’s Disinformation Project.
Registration opened on Monday, Aug. 18, ages 55 and up. Registration is through our web page using Stripe which is well-known and trusted. You must pre-register as there are class size limits. We regret that we cannot accept cheques or e-transfers.
