Professional singer-songwriter and ThemeShop.ca facilitator Lowry Olafson from Gibsons is running a contest offering the opportunity to win a free theme song for a cause. Deadline for entry is June 18.
One lucky non-profit organization will have the opportunity to work with Olafson to create a catchy theme song they can use to raise awareness for their worthy cause.
A theme song can be an effective marketing tool. The non-profit and service organizations Lowry has worked with in the past have used their songs to raise funds, increase membership and inspire their teams.
Organizations eligible for entry include: non-profits (registered or not), charities, service organizations, arts councils, cultural groups and sports and recreation clubs.
Olafson is currently releasing songs for his 10th album. He has facilitated more than 300 group song-writing sessions, and his CD for school kids hit number five on the Galaxie Kidstuff Channel.
