Brooklyn Turner, 14, was one of six Waldorf Ballet dancers nominated to represent the Coast at the 2025 Performing Arts BC Provincial Festival in Victoria earlier this year. Brooklyn earned the place after impressing adjudicators in Surrey in April. In Victoria, Brooklyn competed among 19 dancers aged 13 to 15 and was awarded an honourable mention for her exceptional promise and artistic potential. Brooklyn is currently in Philadelphia along with classmates Waverlee Meisinger and Audrey Altenburg at the Rock School for Dance Education’s summer dance program.
