Over 700 donations in 2022: Arrowhead Clubhouse thanks community for support

'In 2022, we received more than 700 donations of clothing, tents, Christmas presents, food and gift cards. Our clubhouse also received over 30 financial donations during the holiday season that will help us keep our daily nutritious meal free for members and will help us work towards our goal of staying open five days a week.'

THANK YOU!

There isn’t a font big enough to express the gratitude Arrowhead Clubhouse feels toward the Sunshine Coast community. In 2022, we received more than 700 donations of clothing, tents, Christmas presents, food and gift cards. Our clubhouse also received over 30 financial donations during the holiday season that will help us keep our daily nutritious meal free for members and will help us work towards our goal of staying open five days a week.

The generosity of the Sunshine Coast in donations, support, and kindness is greatly appreciated and has made a huge difference in the lives of people living with mental illness. And we have decided it is time for us to return the favour.

Arrowhead Gives Back is a new monthly program where members find a way to help our community. Our first project was to pick up litter around Sechelt Marsh on Wharf Avenue in September. In October, members and staff baked and distributed cupcakes to our neighbours. In the spring, we hope to hold a free car wash – weather and water restrictions permitting. All these little projects are our way of offering a big thank you to this wonderfully supportive community.

Thank you!
