We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Pym Marilyn Arnoldi Dye, who left us peacefully at the age of 84 in Sechelt, BC.

Pym will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband and best friend of 61 years, Laurie Dye; her children, Dave Dye (Kris) and Alyssa Kennelly (Kevin); and her cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Katie, and Aidan. She is also survived by her brother, Robert King, and her sisters, Karen Lait and Mary Miller.

A retired high school teacher with a passion for history and a lifelong love of reading, Pym brought curiosity and intellect to everything she did. She was also a skilled knitter, an enthusiastic gardener, and an adventurous spirit who found joy in boating and travelling the world with Laurie.

Pym was known for her honesty, her strength, and her willingness to speak her mind—traits that shaped the lives of those who knew her. She taught by example, with warmth, integrity, and a steady presence.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2pm on June 21st, 2025, at St. Catherine's in North Vancouver.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
