With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kenneth Murray Snyder who left us on April 21, 2025 at the age of 84 after a three year battle with cancer.
Ken was born in Kitchener Ontario to Percy and Rachel Snyder, the youngest of 8 children. Ken was predeceased by his parents and siblings; Mel, Lincoln, Helen, Stanley, Ralph, Jean & Lorne. Ken is survived by his wife of 36 years Sharyn (nee Erb), his daughter Wanda (Dennis), stepchildren; Robyn, Heather and John (Mary-Lynn), grandchildren; Matthew, Serena, step-grandchildren; Jeremy (Erin), Jesse, Kyle and 6 great-grandchildren; he also is survived by two sisters-in-law Jackie and Ann, whom he cared for deeply, as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was a maintenance mechanic in his working life and took great joy in fixing things, not only for his family but also his neighbors and friends, in his retirement.
He will be sorrily missed by his family and those who knew him best.
