September 17, 1928 - November 24, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Connie Stackhouse, our mom, grandma, great grandma and friend. She loved her family, her beloved Boston Terriers (and Toddy), her flower garden, traveling with her husband, Bob, and spending winters hiking and golfing in California. Connie was a rare combination of gentle and loving, but also strong willed and determined. Whatever obstacles she faced in her life, she rose to the challenge with a smile on her face and determination in her step. Sometimes a little retail therapy, a stylish new outfit and a splash of lipstick helped as well. Whether that resilience came from growing up on the Prairies or her Norwegian ancestry, we called her our Viking queen. Perhaps Connie's resilience was never more evident than when she found the strength to carry on after her beloved Bob passed in 2019.

Connie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November 24. She will be sorely missed by her children, Pat (Ken), Barb (David) and Doug (Suzy); grandchildren, Neill, Kate, Sam (Ian), Tom and John and great-grandchildren, Steve and Malcolm. A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A huge thank you to Dr. Sloan, Jeanine, Kathleen, Lisa, Jenise and Brad. We felt so well supported by all of you wonderful, caring people.
